Ephesians 6:10-18 GNB Finally, build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of his mighty power. At some point in your life you will reach a crossroad. One road will be what YOU want to do and the other will be what God wants you to do. You’re going to have to decide what’s best. Yes, you already know that God’s way will always be the best way even if you can see from where you are that His way may involve winding roads, dark lonely forests, and a few mountains to climb. And you already know that God’s way will always be the best way even if you can tell that your way is a straight and easy shot. But I’m here to tell you, those straight and easy shots aren’t really as easy as they may seem. Those straight and easy shots typically will cause the most pain believe it or not. Going the way you want to go will force you to deal with pain all by yourself. God won’t be as close to you to help you as He would be if you took His way. Because you’ve imposed your free will on His will and thus rendered Him powerless in your own pursuits. I hate to admit it, but your way will end
