The Assembling

Hebrews 10:25  ...not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Good day! It's a great day to be alive here in the land of the living. I pray all is well with you right now. If not, I extend a hearty prayer that whatever has your spirit downcast that its effects be reversed in Jesus' name. Amen.  Moving right along, shall we? Last week, I took it upon myself to put out a blazing forest fire in the kingdom in respect to infighting and these death matches between people of the faith due to competitions and comparisons.  I wanted to point out how such causes the church to be disjointed and how no durable work can be done with disjointed members.   I was somewhat reiterating a point I made in my first post of this year.  If you haven't already read either of those posts, feel free to check it out when you're able. God had me start there...

Gates of a Citadel

Proverbs 18:19 A brother offended is more unyielding than a fortified city; disputes are like  the barred gates of a citadel. Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. Whatever time of the day it is that you’ve landed yourself here, I humbly extend my gratitude to you for choosing to do so.  Right now, I’m taking full advantage of a surge of encouragement I received this past weekend from my church’s conference for God’s preachers/communicators, and creatives. It was three days full of jam packed soul food that I personally, prior to registering, had no full idea how much I really needed.  So yeah, I’m still in geek mode right now eager to see how me and God are going to put this new found knowledge to the test.  Excited is an understatement.  #TheLituation: HE WILL DELIVER! Last week, we convened over the topic of how important community with other people is, how God moves greatly through communal agreements, as well as the hurdles we must ac...

Kill Them With Kindness

Proverbs 11:17  A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man hurts himself. Happy JULYYYYY, folks!!!  It's the 7th month of the year! Time is making reservations for no one! Do you hear me? It's moving right along.  As I stated in a previous post, this is the month of the ANSWER. Consider this month to be like the last paragraph of a really interesting essay.  The months to follow will act as the preface of 2020. With the number 7 biblically meaning completion, expect some things to come to a head or to a complete close.  You may have thought that this would be something that would transpire in December.  NO. The conclusion of matters have arrived. And it will come with some very strong reiterations and a powerful end statement.   What does this mean for you?  It all depends on where you stand and what you've been sowing.  If you've been doing your best to follow God's prompts and His leadings, you need not worr...

Blue God

2 Chronicles 6:18 "But will God indeed dwell with mankind on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain You; how much less this house which I have built. I saw a meme that was re-shared Monday on Facebook that said something like this, “I’m not an atheist it’s just my concept of God is different from yours. Your God lives in the sky. My God lives in me.” Then the original person who shared the meme captioned a prose condemning people for leaving their seemingly warm homes to go to church and also following up under “pimping pastors.” My spirit was immediately vexed. I asked myself, “Where did this person get this information from?" This is a perfect example of how the enemy has people so wound up in SELF-deception that it’s not even funny anymore. From a very tender age (Read- Confessions of an Ex-Atheist ), I myself knew that God does not live in the sky! Come on! You’ve got to be kidding me! This is what the devil is using to trip people up...
