Hunger Games

Happy 2014 beautiful people! Is the new year treating you well so far? What have you been doing DIFFERENT to make this year THE YEAR OF GREATNESS? If you haven’t figured it out yet, that’s ok. It’s never too late to START figuring things out and putting stuff into motion! Please don’t wait until the END of the year though! Ok? So until you get it together, have a seat with me real quick, while we delve into the first post of the NEW YEAR together.

We’re already two weeks into this thang shawty and SheMEHer done received some healthy servings of REVELATIONS from the DIVINE SOURCE! Yes honey! And I’m so DEEP in, that I have long since passed the point of NO RETURN. What the hell are you talking about Tanzy? Look, a snorkeler needs gear to snorkel. A firefighter needs gear to fight fires and you my friend need gear TO GO HIGHER. Higher where? HIGHER IN GOD! Not only will you need to gurd up your loins and put on the whole armor of God, you’re going to need all five of your senses to work WELL.

You’re going to need your eyes to SEE where danger looms. You’re going to need your ears to HEAR God in all the noise! You’re going to have to SMELL when something STINKS. You’re going to need to be able to TOUCH stuff without getting hurt. You’re to going to need to TASTE when there’s DEATH IN THE POT! You’re going to have to know when something is NOT of God. You’re going to have to detect, dissect, and disseminate.

A game is about to start and you’re one of God’s top players. You’re on an open battlefield and it’s time to PLAY. HUNGER GAMES! This past weekend, I watched the movie Hunger Games for the first time. I liked it! And this here revelation dropped kicked me in my spirit!

If you can recall in the movie, these kids had to FIGHT till the DEATH! They had to become RUTHLESS and FEARLESS. There were beasts and fire balls and poisonous wasps! Chile honey hear me out, this is what this game I’m telling you about NOW is all about. You can’t be scared. You can’t get too comfortable because you have to always be on ALERT. And you have to BE HUNGRY!  Because, hiding underneath the depths of FILTH and UNGODLINESS are creatures who are just as hungry as you are. But they are hungry for something else. You’re hungry for RIGHTEOUNESS and they’re hungry for…YOU! Your blood is what they have been sent in your direction to SHED! They want YOUR BLOOD IN THE MUD! OH and there WILL BE BLOOD!

HUNGER GAMES! All kinds of things will be thrown your way to ignite another kind of hunger. A FLESHLY HUNGER! The flesh hungers for things the SPIRIT doesn’t need. Thus, some of things that will be thrown at you will be attractive and come off unassuming and harmless. They may very well come off in the form of something that can quench your thirst and feed your hunger. But don’t fall for the okie doke! Those are TRAPS! This is why I say all of your five senses must be ACTIVE in order for you to determine what is fake and what is not fake! What’s good and NOT GOOD!

Be very careful with things that just APPEAR or SHOW UP! Proceed with caution! Ask God to activate your discernment. God is a gentleman anyway. If you are in need of something He will HAND IT TO YOU. PROVISIONS are not DISCOVERED they ARE PROVIDED! Am I speaking Chinese right now lol?

Here’s an example, you need a financial breakthrough, you’re NOT going to suddenly find a bag of money up the street and around the corner. You may however get reimbursed for something you overpaid for in the past or get a letter in the mail stating that YOU DON’T OWE such in such company anymore. Do you get it now? Don’t fall for the dollar bill on the fishing rod. Don’t fall for that cute person that just so happens to appear when YOU’RE VULNERABLE AND LONELY! This is a GAME! You have to run past that mess and look back at the devil and say, “Ohhh you gotta be quicker than that next time!”

HUNGER GAMES! Your flesh will get hungry dear. But your hunger for righteousness must be STRONGER! And when you feel weak you MUST ask God to help you! Don’t take handouts from the devil! Don’t allow your fleshly hunger pangs to get the best of you! You have to WIN THIS GAME! What your flesh hungers for is not even the REWARD! What God has for you is the REWARD! You just have to WIN THE GAME. You have to WIN THE HUNGER GAME!

Am I My Brother's Keeper?

According to Worldometers.com, there are 7 BILLION people in the world today. Did you read that? 7 BILLION! That’s an amazing figure if you ask me. It’s amazing because GOD took a few handfuls of dirt and breathed His own breath into a creature, a man, and He named him Adam. Then He pulled a rib from Adam and made another creature, a woman, and He named her Eve. From Adam and Eve came the FIRST OFFSPRINGS OF HUMANITY, Cain and Abel. After Cain KILLED Abel, Adam and Eve had more children and their children had children and so on, and so on and VOILA, 7 BILLION PEOPLE are on this Earth! But wait, let’s go back to that whole shebang about Cain killing Abel. How did this happen? The celebration of LIFE in the Garden of Eden had just begun and you mean to tell me somebody was killed ALREADY? You’ve got to be kidding me yo! I'm Friends with the Monster

So, I just used up two posts blasting the immature behaviors of petty Christians, thought I would have used a third post but I'm being led to speak on this; our monsters. Not the monsters we've called the ghostbusters on, the monsters we have become FRIENDS WITH. I actually mentioned in a recent post that we create our own monsters and wonder why we can't sleep at night. Those are the ones we actually are friends with. You may ask, "Well how I can be friends with something that I am afraid of?"  Easy. We have issues.
