Thank You, Next!


Hello there! Thank you to each and every soul that stopped by today. 
I appreciate you all so much! I really pray that at least one of my posts this year blessed you in some way. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into them. 
No lies.

 This year didn't turn out nearly the way that I expected. 
But you know, I can dig it.
I feel light. Free. Optimistic. And at peace. 
It's a pretty dope space to be in if you were to ask me.

 Just so you all know, this will actually be my last post indefinitely. 
Nothing is wrong. All is well on my end. I'm just following God's cues and hanging up the jersey for this season. 
He told me last week's post, 
Lovely Bones was a good note to end on. 
Two weeks earlier than last year and 43 blog topics sitting in my drafts...
SAY WHAAAT?! 

To be honest, He'd been giving me hints that this would be my last year here sharing from this platform. I believe He's prepping me for more visibility. The only reason I believe this, is because I DON'T WANT TO BE MORE VISIBLE! 
Me: "But God, I like being a figment of people's imaginations."

Sooooo yeah. Here we are. LOL!
I got a few projects spinning in my idea wheel for next year that I'm super excited about! 
It's going to take a lot more focus, discipline, and creativity to carry them out. 
As well as freeing up time to be 
God's understudy for whatever and wherever He needs me. 
Clearing my plate is necessary.
I'm also very much ready to pack my bags and do some traveling!

With all of that being said, I want to stay connected to you. I still plan to drop some gems from time to time via my Fanpage. Go ahead and follow me if you haven't. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.

Am I My Brother's Keeper?

According to Worldometers.com, there are 7 BILLION people in the world today. Did you read that? 7 BILLION! That’s an amazing figure if you ask me. It’s amazing because GOD took a few handfuls of dirt and breathed His own breath into a creature, a man, and He named him Adam. Then He pulled a rib from Adam and made another creature, a woman, and He named her Eve. From Adam and Eve came the FIRST OFFSPRINGS OF HUMANITY, Cain and Abel. After Cain KILLED Abel, Adam and Eve had more children and their children had children and so on, and so on and VOILA, 7 BILLION PEOPLE are on this Earth! But wait, let’s go back to that whole shebang about Cain killing Abel. How did this happen? The celebration of LIFE in the Garden of Eden had just begun and you mean to tell me somebody was killed ALREADY? You’ve got to be kidding me yo! The Battle is Not Yours

Sitting here thinking about a promise God made me last year. He told me, that I wouldn't have to fight anymore. In the  voice of Sophia from The Color Purple , "All my life I had to fight." Lol My fights weren't physical though. They were all emotional. Fighting to fit in. Fighting to be accepted. Fighting biased assumptions. Fighting jealousy. Fighting systems that were designed to make me feel inferior, insecure, and incompetent. Figthing to prove that I was normal even though I knew in my heart I wasn't. Fighting my greatness.  I suffered huge bouts of depression because I would purposely suffocate any aspect of my peculiarity, I did this to keep from being rejected.
