Until Next Time...

Well hello there! Thanks for dropping by today. For those of you who don't know me as well as others, this is the time of year I actually highly anticipate. Not because of Christmas and gifts or what not but because I typically reserve this month to put some things down and disable all access to social media outlets to commune with God on a deeper level.  I don't believe I've done nearly enough on this earth to call my time away a sabbatical so I'll just say I'm going to Shiloh for a while.  What's Shiloh?  Well I'm most glad you asked!  In 1 Samuel 1:3, it says that Hannah's husband Elkanah  would go every year to Shiloh with his family,  a city near Bethel where he would worship God and offer up a sacrifice. This year was fairly decent as I think about it. I got some much needed stuff accomplished and I couldn't be more pleased.  But I'm eager for God to spell some deeper things out for me about my life especially since som

Better Than...

1 Samuel 15:22 But Samuel replied: "Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. Good day everyone!  I pray that you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving, and the food, and your families, and another day to give God thanks.  I know I did!  It was a beautiful day indeed. Probably one of the best Thanksgivings I've ever experienced.  Maybe because I'm truly in a different space, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.  All these things I believe can play a key role in how you perceive your blessings.  I don't have a lot, right now. But I have a lot, right now.  Does that make any sense?  Well, hopping right into it. I think it was two weeks ago one Sunday night, I was sitting in my bath I'd prepared with bath bombs, soap, and lavender Espon salt.  Here, is where I begin to ruminate and wander through some of the causes and e

!!!!Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Psalm 9:1 I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. Isn't it a great day to be alive and well in the land of the living to celebrate another Thanksgiving?  Did I just rhyme?  Ha!  Anywho, there will be no blog post for this week.  Awwww!  I know. I know!  Since you're here though, I would like to remind you guys to  LIVE in this present moment.  Some of you may have had a rockier year than others which has forced you to be pressed for days that have not come yet or mourning over days that have already passed.  Hear me,  YOU'RE STILL ALIVE!  Which means nothing that transpired yesterday could stop you and anything that is scheduled for tomorrow shouldn't shake you because it has not been introduced to your hardcore demon slaying self!  You're a beast! You're killing it! You're going to keep killing it!  Through all that has tried to break you down this year, you've managed to s

The Great Defender

Deuteronomy 32:4   The Lord is your mighty defender, perfect and just in all his ways; Your God is faithful and true; he does what is right and fair. "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say or do will be held against you in a court of law. You have the right to have an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one will be appointed to you by the court. With these rights in mind, are you still willing to talk with me about the charges against you?" Who's not familiar with these good ole Miranda Rights? Hopefully, you've never been arrested and your introduction to these rights were from watching cop shows, like me.  I'm not judging you though if you were in fact arrested and were read these rights by a police officer. Can we just agree that we know them though? Ha!  Anywho, these rights were basically put in place as a means to protect those in custody by giving them the heads up that although their freedom is about to be temporarily suspende

Job 8:7 “Though your beginning was insignificant, yet your end will increase greatly.” Welp, happy Wednesday to you all! Thanking each and every one of you who decided to pay me a visit today. I appreciate your faithfulness!  I also want to thank those who interceded on my behalf during my transition to my new place of residence. My body suffered a couple scrapes, scratches, and bruises, but the move was successful.  I thank God for showing me a way of escape from a tumultuous, chaotic, and volatile environment. As well as setting it up so perfectly for me to be able to provide for my parents a safe haven and a fresh start.  I couldn't have done this on my own.  Last year, a woman prophet from my church spoke to me and told me that God was going to bless me with intense peace.  And I believe I've waltzed into just that.  Despite this great victory, the fulfillment of a promise God made to me, and my utmost gratefulness;  I woke up a little after sunr

!I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Well happy Wednesday to you all! There will be no week's post for today. Per say. I've been primarily focused on my move into my new place.  So I'm sitting my scribing self in the corner.  But since you're here, I don't want you to leave here empty handed. I feel like blessing somebody with a token of my appreciation for visiting this page on the regular.  I hope you're good at following steps. Here's what I need you to do; 1. Read this post for me: # MustardSeed .  Out of all of the posts I've written since 2013, this was the one that received the least amount of reads. I'm surprised because this year, if I be a witness is one that required we operate in great FAITH. Whether it's because nothing changed, something changed, or everything changed, faith was definitely needed.  2. Tell me what has faith done for you this year or just period so far? 3. Choose one of my posts from this year that you believe had the gr
